Our domestic abuse refuge offers safe accommodation for people who need to leave harm behind. The location is confidential and is never published or shared.
What the Refuge Provides
- A private room prepared before arrival, with bedding, towels and a welcome pack of essentials.
- Shared, well-kept living space with a kitchen and comfortable areas to sit.
- Practical help in the first days: food, toiletries, clothing and travel where needed.
- Support with benefits, housing applications, appointments and onward move-on planning.
- Family-friendly spaces, including books and quiet corners for children.
Who It Supports
The refuge supports adults, and families with children, who are affected by domestic abuse and need safe accommodation. Each referral is assessed carefully so that we can be honest about whether we are the right service and whether space is available.
What Someone Can Expect
A calm welcome, no pressure to tell your story before you are ready, a room that is yours, and a team who explain clearly what happens next. Support continues at your pace — practical, steady and respectful.
Safety and Confidentiality
Confidentiality is what keeps a refuge safe. We do not publish the address, exterior photographs, or any image that could reveal the surrounding area. Visitors are not permitted at the property, and information about residents is never shared without a clear safeguarding or consent basis.
